File Upload Instructions

This program is used to upload single files, not directories of photos. To upload pictures click here. The file manager will give you access to the files section of the website. To update a file linked on the website, simply upload and overwrite the existing file. You can upload new files, but they will not be automatically be linked to the website. You will have to contact the webmaster to arrange for that. ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

 

  1. Click File Manager link below.
  2. Login using the username and password given to you.
  3. Click the folder that you want to upload the file in. The list of files is on the left side of the screen.
  4. DO NOT USE SPACES in file or directory names that you are uploading, linux does not like these.
  5. Press the upload button. (hint: it’s in the middle of the screen near the top. It looks like a up-arrow).
  6. Click the button that says “browse” on “File 1:” and search for the file you want to upload.
  7. Repeat step 6 on “File 2:”, “File 3:”, etc if needed.
  8. When all files have been “browsed”, click the “save” button.
  9. Do not click the save button more than once. The uploader does not have a status-bar, and it will give no sign that it’s actually working until it finishes.
  10. When the uploading finishes, the window will close.
  11. Your file has uploaded successfully!
