Introduction to Venture Crew 261 |
Venture Crew 261
Venture Crew 261 is the High Adventure Program for Boy Scout Troop261.
We are chartered by Christ United Methodist Church located at the corner of Parker and Coit roads in Plano, Texas.
Our program is designed to serve high-school age scouts in Troop 261 with high adventure activities such as hunting, scuba diving and white water rafting.
We meet at Christ United Methodist Church on most Mondays at 6:30PM.
We are experiencing some compatibility problems with the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.
Until these problems are resolved, please use Mozilla Firefox 3.x.
The web site functions perfectly with the Firefox browser.

Venture Crew 261 recruits new members twice a year in March and September.
New members are admitted April 1st and October 1st.
This is intended to make it easier to manage enrolling new members with the Boy Scouts of America and to coincide with Venture Crew 261 Leadership terms that start in April and Oct.
The requirements for membership can be found on the Venture Crew 261 Application.
